About The Event

Saint and Scholars Concert

An event supported by Council and will be kicking of The Saint Patricks Day Celebrations in Downpatrick the final resting place of our patron saint.

The event promises to be something very special, a celebration of heritage, culture and St Patrick through music, song, poetry and Dance.

In its second year this event promises to encapsulate all that is good about the many different styles of Irish music from traditional ballads to contemporary songs from right

across the island of and beyond.

This year's line up features some the greatest names in Irish entertainment from right across Ireland and already announced to participate are Liam Lawton, Malachi Cush and Karl Mc Guckin, Mathew Csmpbell plus many others.

We are delighted to announce we have secured all the necessary funding to stage this concert by Newry Mourne and Down Council so we have decided to give something back and to provide this concert with no cover charge -

Yes Is Free, but will be an all ticket event.

Our concerts have been attended now by over 2000 people in recent years and we really hope you would join us once again for this - it is going to be another special evening they always are.

Prior being released to the general public we are allowing all our friends here in ALPs to secure your tickets from us first -

Tickets will be released on Wednesday 13th February as will full details so you've got a few days to secure yours first by reserving them here with us
