McGuckin Family
Car Wash

On behalf of everyone at ALPS (All Lives Are Precious), we would like to express our deepest and most sincere thanks to the McGuckin family, Autocare Car Wash, and every single person who supported the Charity Car Wash on 26th July 2026.
Together, you raised an absolutely incredible £9,775.51 for ALPS. 💙
This was so much more than a fundraiser.
It was a day filled with love, community spirit and remembrance, held in honour of Martin McGuckin, who sadly passed away in July 2025.
For over 30 years, Martin owned and ran a car wash, so there could hardly have been a more fitting way to celebrate his life, his hard work, his kindness and the many memories he left behind.
What the McGuckin family and everyone involved have achieved is truly special. Through their own heartbreak, they have helped shine a light for others who may be struggling and have raised vital funds that will allow ALPS to continue supporting individuals and families affected by suicide and poor mental health.
To everyone who washed cars, volunteered, donated, helped organise, shared the event, called in on the day or simply offered a few words of encouragement — thank you.
Every bucket of water, every donation, every conversation and every act of kindness mattered.
The phenomenal total of £9,775.51 is a testament to how highly Martin was thought of and to the generosity of a community coming together for something incredibly important.
Martin's memory was at the heart of this special day, and through the kindness shown in his name, his legacy is helping others.
From all of us at ALPS – All Lives Are Precious, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We are incredibly grateful and humbled to receive this support.

To everyone who helped organise the tournament, took part, donated or supported the day — thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
