All star masters

Now that we have had a day to regroup following our event on Saturday we just wish to thank everyone who got behind us and to make it the success that it was.

Saturday will go down as a momentous day for ALPS and the memories will last forever.

So many people assisted us it wouldn't be possible to name every single person that helped here on a post we would be writing forever.

But to all the players, (who travelled from all across the country), Antrim and Derry GAA for all, Club Antrim and Club Derry, sponsors, medics, comperes, referee's, volunteers, photographers, videographer and every single person who helped us we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We are truly indebted to you for your support.

We owe a special thanks to Sean and all at Roger Casements GAC for allowing us to stage this event at the club and for all they did, over 40 members of the club came out to assist us by stewarding and marshalling the game.

Additionally to MFC, we owe a huge word of thanks, they have been amazing, without hesitation they weighed in behind ALPS to supply the beautiful kit free of charge for the occasion and have been awesome in creating a replica jersey for all to have.

To all at the Antrim masters and our dear Friend Paul , this game could only occur because of your support. You guys are awesome - you answered our call when we came knocking and your support and dedication to making this occur and of ALPS has blown us away no end.

We also wish to thank Fergal and all at Pat's Bar/ The Rusty Stag in Portglenone for looking after us all so well after the event.

We further wish to thank, Flixx Graphics In Downpatrick for their sterling job with the programme , Brand-all also in Downpatrick for their assistance with the banners and Bargainland in Downpatrick for everything they did to make this event happen.

Finally we wish to thank everyone who purchased a ticket and attended the game, we thank you all for your continued support.

Days like today don't just occur, they take months of organisation, our team and others worked tirelessly at this for many weeks, but we can safely say every effort was worth it.

We went into this thinking this was a one off and although Saturdays event will never be replicated we think it may just be only the first one.

We go back now to our normal routines but with memories that will last always.
