ALPS goes stateside
We could never have thought our work would bring us to America , but for the last few days we have been in the USA meeting with people about our services and activities, discussing our aspirations to help the Irish communities across America.
Today we met with the Irish Pastoral Centre in Boston to discuss our work and to explore possible linkages. the Pastoral Centre is an amazing organisation that does so much work for the Irish community all across the East coast of the United States.
It was only a whistlestop visit but delighted to announce now tonight following our weekend we will be bringing our work to Boston and surrounding areas and plan on visiting again in the very near future to conduct community trainings and programmes to the benefit of the community.
