Our Traveller Advocacy Service received a Koestler Commended Award for our work.
The award was given for a project that was run in partnership with the Prison Arts
Foundation under the leadership of our dear friend and tutor (remains nameless but she knows who she is).
We wish to thank everyone for assisting us in this project and for helping us to introduce our Traveller Specific programme in the Prison Service. There has been 3 years of hard work to implement this programme in the prison and It is amazing to receive this recognition of our work.
This award would not of been possible without the tutor and we truly thank her for all she has done for us, an amazing lady and a real asset to ourselves at ALPs.
